History, Profile
Valley Mechanical Contractors, Inc was started in 1970. The present ownership has been with VMC since 1973. We are a small company (we presently have 34 employees), but we can do large jobs, from around $2.3 million and down. We are also a caring company (50% of our employees have been with us 12 years or more), this gives us a high degree of expertise in our field. We pride ourselves on being one of the best mechanical contractors in southwest Virginia.
Apprenticeship
We have worked with the Virginia Apprenticeship Council for the past 20 years to advance the plumbing and sheet metal trades. Normally, applicants for apprenticeship have been with us for 1 year before entering into the apprenticeship program. This assures us of the desire and capabilities of our apprentices before entering the program.
